Our Molten Textured Silver Mirror is a textured extruded acrylic sheet that looks like molten lava. Textured acrylic is a great way to add extra dimension to your laser cutting projects.
Our 1/8" textured acrylic means that the thickest part of the pattern will reach upwards of .125/.118 inches thick. However, the overall thickness will vary and may get as thin as 1mm/.04in thick depending on the pattern. This pattern variance may require additional attention and adjustments to your standard mirror settings.
Due to the manufacturing process, the back of the mirror may also have some spots with a slight texture or dimpling. This is common variance with this style and not a sheet defect.
Do you need this acrylic size to be smaller? Check out our custom cutting fee here.

Masking: Plastic Protective Covering
60W Settings: 15 Speed, 40 Power, 100 Frequency
Recommended Glowforge Setting - We recommend removing the clear plastic on your mirror acrylic and paper masking both sides of the acrylic. Masking both sides of the acrylic will prevent the silver backing from getting damaged and prevent the plastic covering from melting on your tray. When cutting or engraving we like to put the silver side up and mirror our design. You can use the proofgrade setting for Medium Black Acrylic, but may need to adjust for the variance in thickness of the pattern.
Please allow a +/- ½ inch variation for length and width sizes, and +/- 30% variation in thickness
