This two-way mirror is a double-sided acrylic mirror that has a mirror effect on both sides. The two-way mirror has different levels of translucent depending on the angle and distance viewed.
Due to the manufacturing process to achieve this look it does need to be handled differently than other acrylic. The side with the protective blue film has a reflective film like coating. Do not use any harsh chemical cleaners on this acrylic and always clean gently with a screen cleaner cloth. Glues, weld-ons, and adhesive papers can distort the affect if not handled properly.

Posted settings are recommendations only. For best results it is recommended you attempt a small test area before moving forward with a larger design. Results may vary on each machine due to a variety of factors such as machine type, age, and maintenance.
We recommend engraving on the side with the clear plastic film, not the blue plastic film. To achieve the infinity affect you do not engrave this mirror, but an accompanying sheet of Clear Silver Mirror, more information on this video.
Recommended Glowforge Setting - We recommend removing the clear plastic on your mirror acrylic and paper masking both sides of the acrylic. Masking both sides of the acrylic will prevent the finished mirror backing from getting damaged and prevent the plastic covering from melting on your tray. When cutting or engraving we like to put the silver side up and mirror our design. You can start by using the proofgrade setting for Medium Black Acrylic.
